Ode to Blackie!!
I had the absolute pleasure of owning a Black Fiat Punto in the UK (I think a 1994 model).  She was bought for about 300 Pounds and was not expected to last too long. My sister in law used her on the farm and when I got to the UK in April 2007 my brother drove her from Aberdeen in the North of Scotland to Horsham in the South of England for me. She proudly sported a Sharks sticker!!

She served me well for a few months and then I decided to move back to Aberdeen. We set off at 6am and 13 hours and a tank and a half of petrol we arrived in Aberdeen.  She then got me to work for many months through snow drifts that went past her little wheels, she started first time every day despite being covered in snow and having no heating to speak of!  We passed other more sophisticated vehicles, who will remain nameless, stranded in snow having skidded off the road! Lightweights!!

I sadly decided to part with Blackie when her COR was due as it would have been cheaper to buy a new car than get her through.  She did however go to someone else who I am sure is enjoying her as much as I did.  What a car!!

I am now looking at buying a 2nd hand Palio and my parents who are in the UK have just bought a black 2010 Fiat Panda who has been christened Blackie 2!

Viva Fiat!!
