500X City Look uses MultiAir II technology, now in its second generation, which enables the intake valve to be controlled directly using an electrohydraulic system, thanks to an improved camshaft and a specific control strategy.This optimises the thermodynamic performance of the engine, reducing fuel consumption and slowing torque speed.

Adaptive Cruise Control, available on request on 500X City Look, allows you to set the cruising speed of your car and maintain it until the end of the journey. Additionally, thanks to a radar assembled at the front of the vehicle, the system detects vehicles or objects on the road, so slowing the speed down or maintaining a greater stopping distance from the vehicle in front.
With 500X City Look“blind spots" are no longer a problem, because the system checks for the presence of vehicles in critical positions and warns you with a blinking light on the outer rear view mirrors and an acoustic warning. The same thing happens when reversing, if a car approaches from the side.
The 500X City Look system comes into action if you start changing lanes inadvertently (i.e. without using your indicators). The visual signal on the dashboard is accompanied by greater steering resistance to the change in direction.
Passive safety was a major concern for the designers of 500X City Look, and the car features 6 dual-stage airbags: at the front, on the sides and curtain.
The 500X City Look rear view camera and parking sensors are there to lend a hand whenever you need it. Plus with the Rear Cross Path Detection system, the 500X City Look tells you when you can reverse out of your parking space even in low visibility conditions (using Blind Spot Assist).
